Hello & welcome to Bumble Lane nursery where little bundles of joy are created.
My name is Helenna and i am the artist behind Bumble Lane Nursery. I have studied art for two years and love painting so this hobby is perfect.
This is my first year of reborning and i am loving every minute of it. I first discoverd reborning one night while watching tv when my fake baby came on and had to find out more.
I spend many hours shut away in my workroom painting or rooting my reborns and really enjoy every minute of it.
With each of my reborns i firstly give them a johnsons bubble bath in order to remove any factory oils etc so i have a nice clean start. Then i begin painting layer upon layer to produce the babies realistic skin with veins, capileries, birth marks and soon hopefully even scratches. When the reborn has been painted it is then time to start rooting the head using premium angora mohair which takes many hours of work.
Finally the body is weighted along with the limbs and head in order to make the baby feel cuddle and a real weight of a baby.
My reborns can also have hair clips or a dummy.
